Recorded in 1998 at MAV Studios with producer Pat McAtee, Alter Ego captures The Sound and the Fury at the beginning of its journey. Building on two earlier demo releases, the album marked the band's first full-length studio effort and documented the youthful ambition, energy, and determination that would define the years to come.

Featuring early fan favorites such as "The Earthquake's Revenge" and "Bottle Magic," Alter Ego showcases a band discovering its identity while blending powerful melodies, dynamic arrangements, and deeply personal songwriting.
